Al Uyon Oasis Resort
The project is located in Al Uyon Neighbourhood in Al Madinah in Saudi Arabia, on a land area of about 30,000 square meters.
The existing site contains a mature old palm grove and a newly planted palm trees, our main goal was to maintain minimal level of intervention in the farm by preserving the mature palm trees wherever possible and relocating any palms that are unavoidably affected.
We have done the masterplan for this project which we were keen to ensure that it embodies Saudi Vision 2030, which places as its top priority the “natural environment”, preserving and developing it, and reducing activities that deplete it.
Passive environmental energy systems are used for ventilation and cooling, and integrated systems for water treatment and recycling.
